Cello

The modern version of the cello comes from the Violin family but versions of the four stringed instruments actually date back to the 9th century. Even used now in both orchestral music and pop music (look up the Beatles, "Eleanor Rigby" and "Strawberry Fields Forever"), an instrument that has lasted this long must be something rather special.

Tempted to give it a go but not sure where to start? Our talented group of tutors can help. Because they are experienced teachers as well as musicians, our tutors can help you to not only get to grips with the fundamental aspects of cello playing, but they can also help you to expand your range and creativity…it’s up to you and it’s all possible at musiclessonsplus.org.
