Oboe Lessons

In 1695 Henry Playford described the oboe as "Majestical and Stately, and not much inferior to the Trumpet." This woodwind instrument is known for its clear and vibrant tone, somewhere between what you would expect to hear from a mix of a clarinet and a saxophone.

Often heard above all other instruments in a concert band, the oboe can be a tricky instrument to learn to play well, but that’s where our talented group of tutors can help. Because they are experienced teachers as well as musicians, our tutors can help you to not only get to grips with the fundamental aspects of Oboe playing, but they can also help you to expand your range and creativity…why not create an accordion based punk band for the 21st century…it’s up to you and it’s all possible at musiclessonsplus.org.
