Violin
The smallest member of the violin family of string instruments, the violin is probably the most popular. The violinist uses a bow to create sound by gliding across the strings; some violinists even use their fingers to pluck and the strings creating a shorter, pointed note. Literally one of the most widely reaching instruments in the music world, the violin is used in classical, folk, rock, pop, country and even jazz music.
Think you’d like to try the violin but not sure where to start? Our talented group of tutors can help. Because they are experienced teachers as well as musicians, our tutors can help you to not only get to grips with the fundamental aspects of playing the violin, but they can also help you to expand your range and creativity…it’s up to you and it’s all possible at musiclessonsplus.org.
