The most rewarding part of being a piano teacher is seeing the satisfaction my students get when they reach and exceed their goals. Goals don't necessarily have to be getting a distinction in your Grade 8 piano exam, although I do encourage students to follow a formal assessment structure if it is right for them. Goals can be about the pleasure you derive from the music you learn on the journey, and the lifelong skills which you develop along the way!
